New Manual Lymphatic Drainage Treatments Coming Soon!

Updated: Sep 2, 2021

I have some news! I am studying towards a certificate in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and am really excited about offering it in the future. It will help many of my clients in different ways.

What is Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)? It is a technique which can be used on the whole body to speed up the recycling and removal of waste products from the circulatory system. It cleanses muscles and tissues by removing toxins and taking them to be eliminated.

It works at just below the skin’s surface with light rhythmic movements to stimulate and speed up the natural movement of lymph by up to 20 times. The pressure is no more than the weight of my hand and so it is a totally different experience to a Swedish massage. It complements massage treatments by improving muscle and tissue health.

What are the benefits of MLD? It reduces fluid retention and so puffiness and swelling from anywhere in the body. If you suffer from edema or lymphedema this treatment will provide relief. It boosts the immune system by increasing the movement of antibodies. It can help with brain fog and headaches. It is also an extremely enjoyable and relaxing treatment - I dare you to stay awake!

Let me know by commenting below if this is a treatment that interests you and if so which part of the body comes to mind.

Lxx
